When Rennett and Derek from Florida first contacted me, I was pretty sure that these two are highly motivated to hunt for the “perfect frame” together with me.

They had married in the US in a small and private ceremony and unfortunately did not have the opportunity to organize a wedding photographer back then. It seemed this detail could be partially fixed in Switzerland. The area around Lake Lucerne and, in particular, the picturesque Hotel Villa Honegg, which offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and lakes, had impressed the couple so much that, without further ado, they booked a holiday including an Elopement Shooting in Switzerland (luckily with me :)).
I was awestruck by Villa Honegg’s splendor and style, which could perhaps best be described as a marriage of Art Deco with modern style elements and materials. Rennett and Derek obviously enjoyed creating their own personal wedding dream in the midst of this dreamlike backdrop. Despite the, unfortunately, rather modest weather, I hope that Rennett and Derek got unforgettable pictures that can carry the elegance and the magic of their stay back into their everyday life.
