When sending us a question or an inquiry for a photo shoot we receive your first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address and details of your wedding, such as date and location. We also receive any additional information you choose to send us, such as, for instance, your social media accounts.
Your correspondence with us about your photo shoot and everything related to it, such as your contact data, the contacts of your friends and family that will be present at the photo shoot, and also your personal likings.
If you comment our blog entries, then we receive your comments.

3. USAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We are using the information directly provided by you to plan your photo shoot and get prepared for it.
3.2 Creation of user accounts
Through using the information directly provided by you we create a user account that allows us to offer you personalized services such as, for instance, viewing your invoices or downloading your photographs.
3.3 Processing of your photographs
The information directly provided by you allows us to identify and sort the photographs made during your photo shoot.
3.4 Creation of blog entries
We will use a selection of your photographs to publish your blog entries on our website.
3.5 Ordering of accessories
If you order accessories such as photo books and passepartout photo prints, we use the photographs made during your photo shoot for the layout. We then use the information directly provided by you, such as first name, last name and address, to order the respective accessories and get them delivered to you.
3.6 Ordering of services
If you order additional services such as a second photographer, we use the information directly provided by you for planning and coordinating your photo shoot.
3.7 Customer management and administration
We use the information collected about you to efficiently communicate with you, plan your photo shoots and for general administrative activities, such as the management of user accounts or the issuing of bills.
3.8 Marketing purposes
We use the photographs made during your photo shoot for marketing purposes that mainly comprise the following: blog entries on our website, representation on third-party websites, creation of sample accessoires such as photo books and passepartout prints, marketing emails and creation of brochures. In all of those cases, we will at most mention your and your partner’s first name and, for blog entries, a short story about your photo shoot. By agreeing for us to use your photographs for marketing purposes, you contribute greatly to us being able to make a living with photography and to constantly improve our services – since our customer’s photographs are our most prized possession.
We further use your information to improve our marketing and services through statistical methods.
4. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION
We share your information with companies that support us in delivering our services to you, such as assistants, photographers, stylists, suppliers for accessories, postal services, forwarding agencies and photography hosting platforms. We may also share your information with companies that help us to manage, analyze and optimize our services.
All companies gain access to your information in a way that allows to deliver our services in the best possible manner while ensuring that the secrecy of your information is adequately maintained.
5. STORING YOUR INFORMATION
Your information is mainly stored and processed in Switzerland, the European Union and the USA – only in exceptional cases, your information is stored and processed outside of the aforementioned countries or regions. As with regards to the USA, we aim to ensure that your information is stored and processed with companies that conform to the Privacy Shield agreement between the EU and the USA.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to safely store and process your information and to allow you safe access to the latter. We can, however, not guarantee that your information may be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
