CREATED BY YOU

PHOTOGRAPHY ARTWORK

Nurture your creative eye under the guidance of an experienced, passionate photographer.

When you take a look at the artwork that fills the walls of your home, what do you feel? A sense of connection? Indifference? Emptiness?

Imagine, for a moment, what it might be like to be surrounded by pieces that tell a story... A story of your passions, your interests, the things that make you feel something. And I mean really feel something.

Imagine, for another moment, being able to actively participate in the creation of those pieces.

This is what my course is all about. Becoming a true visual author of your very own story.

Join me on this exciting photography journey and that’s exactly what you’ll learn to do.

**Note: I have captured the photo on the right being in the town of Zug for the first time in my life.

The Process

Preparation Phase

I know your time is precious, so we’re gonna dive right in!

We’ll start with an analysis of your personal style. As in, I’ll ask about your favorite colors, textures, musicians, all of it. Through this exploratory journey, we’ll better be able to get your photography journey off on the right foot.

Next, I’ll ask you to take a snapshot of the wall/area where your not-yet-born masterpiece will find its home. Make sure it’s a place within your house that you love, a place that you feel good in and only want to improve with that extra special touch.

01

photography technique phase

Now, it’s time to get into the good stuff.

During this section of your journey, I will give you a crash course on specific photography techniques that will be used to create your piece. We might even invent a few techniques along the way (YAY for experimentation:)) Then, once we’ve got the skills down, we’ll start brainstorming some shooting locations.

**Note: Ideally, this phase of the course would occur in person.

02

Shooting phase

Here we are at the BEST PART!

On shoot day, we’ll meet at the previously agreed location at an agreed upon time (which should also keep in mind the specific lighting needed for your piece of art).

...And don’t be afraid to get creative with it.

I once shot at a cemetery in Key West at one in the morning, so rest assured I’m down for a little adventure outside of working hours. ;)

Next, I’ll lend you one of my cameras, depending on which one is most suitable for creating your photography art piece. (Don’t worry, I’ll help you decide on this one).

Once we’ve got the equipment ready and loaded, I’ll walk you through various suggestions for techniques that I might use to capture your unique art. (Remember: This stage is all about experimentation and brainstorming, so don’t feel obliged to go with my ideas).

...And finally, the best part is here. Time to shoot!

03

Post-Processing Phase

The most exciting part might be over with, but there’s still plenty of fun and learning to be had.

In this phase of the course, I’ll show you how to take your artwork to new heights with the power of (*drumroll please*) editing software.

04

Framing Phase

Your masterpiece has been created and there’s only one thing left to do.

...Frame it!

During this final phase of your photography journey, I’ll provide guidance as you make decisions regarding the final touches on your artwork, such as which paper, print house, and frame to use.

...Then, guess what? You’re all done.
Don’t forget to sit back, relax, and enjoy your creation!

**Note: Perhaps you have already noticed the repeating image of a lamp changing its colors. I've captured it 13 years ago in the Italian restaurant Pinocchio in Kyiw, which I used to regularly visit for their tiramisu.
